Me.
I am a fine artist, painter and illustrator specializing in everything from traditional and contemporary portrait painting to large scale commercial, private and publicly funded mural projects. My professional background and credentials are as diverse as the subject matter presented in my portfolio. Recognition for my talent begun at an early age, as I was accepted into adult drawing and composition classes by the age of six. I graduated from Flagler College, St. Augustine, FL. with a BA in Fine Art, and a minor in Graphic Design. I completed my internship for Tracy-Locke Partnership in Wilton, CT, an award winning advertisement/ promotional agency located just outside NYC. My first industry job was with an ad/ promotions publication in Atlantic City, NJ. Upon my departure, I was an Assistant Art Director and was responsible for meeting several deadlines weekly. I then took employment with a local mural studio as a fine art painter and muralist, required knowledge included but was not limited to various hand painted techniques of traditional and contemporary subject matter. From the Spring 2002 until the Fall 2005 I was employed at a high-end custom sign manufacturer. Clients included numerous casinos from coast to coast as well Carnival and Norweigan Cruise Lines. My responsibilities included working with designers and sculptors to develop various faux finishes and design applications for high-end casino signs using water based paint and automotive enamels in a casino driven work environment. I was required to work/ travel nationally and internationally during the installation phase of projects. Work related travel included; Italy, France, Canada, the Caribbean, as well as various parts of the United States. Since 2005, I have been working on a freelance/ commissioned basis. Clients include both private and commercial establishments as well as the completion of public art for local business and neighborhood development associations. Over the past few years I have also added automotive airbrushing to my resume having completed several projects.
